 Hiroko Kudo
 
Born in 1982 in Japan. Hiroko started to play the piano at the age of four.
 
She has completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, her Master of Music degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and her Konzertexamen (Concert Diploma) as an excellent student with distinction at the HMT Leipzig (Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig) in Germany.
 
She is a winner of the overall postgraduate scholarship audition for 2007. She is currently in the Meister course which equivalents to the doctor´s degree at the HMT Leipzig. She received the Sachsen state government scholarship between 2008 and 2010.
 
She has won prizes at the national and the international piano competitions including the First Prize at the Japan Piano Competition, Award at the 12th Young Artist Piano Competition, Awards at the PTNA Piano Competition, Judge Award at the 31st Machida City Piano Competition in Japan, the Third prize at the Michael Harding International Piano Competition in England, the third prize at the 17th International Piano Competition Rome.
 
Currently she is studying with Gerald Fauth.
She has studied with Yasuko Tomoda, Hidemitsu Hayashi, Mikhail Voskresensky and Joan Havill.
 
She has given Solo and Chamber music recitals in Europe and Japan including some international music festivals. She has performed with the Philharmony Altenburg Gera and the Kammer Philharmony Leipzig in Germany.
 
She has participated in several international piano masterclasses with Jerome Rose, Martin Roscoe, Konrad Elser, John Perry, Mats Widlund and Sergei Dorensky.
